The Reset Guide
The free version of the whole plan
We said you would get this whether or not you ever buy anything. Here it is.
Weeks 1–6: subtract
Stop the actives, the exfoliants and the experiments. Keep three steps: a cleanser that does not sting, one moisturiser, SPF in the morning. Change nothing else. The point is to give your skin one full surface-renewal cycle without interruption.
What to watch for
An absence, not a glow. Products stop stinging before anything looks different. Tightness stops returning an hour after moisturising. Skin behaves the same two days in a row.
Week 7 onward: reintroduce
One active at a time, one week apart, lowest sensible frequency first. If something flares, drop it and let things settle before judging. Keep what earns its place; a shelf of products you tolerate beats a shelf of products that promise.
Honest limits
This is general cosmetic-routine guidance, not medical advice. If you suspect eczema, rosacea, dermatitis or another condition, see a GP or dermatologist. If you are on prescription treatment, ask your prescriber before pausing anything.
